Privacy Notice
The short version. If you ask for the free file we keep your email address so we can send it and the three follow-up emails. If you buy something we keep a record of what you bought so we can deliver it, honor the refund, and send you the four follow-up emails you can leave at any time. We do not sell or rent your address to anybody, we run no advertising trackers on this site, and you can leave the list from any email in one click or ask us to delete you outright and we will.
1 · What we collect, and why
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | When you ask for the free bench-test file, or when you buy | To send you the file you asked for, the receipt, and the follow-up emails you can leave at any time |
| Your name, if you give one at checkout | At checkout | To address the delivery email |
| What you bought, the amount, the date, and whether the delivery email was opened or clicked | At purchase and afterwards | To deliver the right file, honor the sixty-day refund, and know whether delivery is actually working |
| Card details | Never | Stripe handles payment end to end. We never see or store your card number. |
We do not ask for your address, your phone number, your date of birth or anything about where you prospect, and there is no field on this site in which to put any of it. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.
2 · Who processes it for us
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details directly and gives us back the purchase record.
- Brevo — email delivery and the mailing list. Brevo stores your address, the date you joined, which emails we have already sent you, and standard delivery statistics such as opens and clicks.
- Netlify — hosting. Netlify keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, as every web host does.
Those three are the whole list. They act as our processors and each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent or trade your address, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
3 · Trackers and cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no analytics script, and carries no third-party pixels or social widgets. There is nothing to consent to, which is why there is no banner asking you to. The only external requests the pages make are for the web font used in headings and buttons.
The emails we send do include the ordinary open and click measurement that Brevo provides, so that we can tell whether a delivery reached you. If you would rather not be measured, most email clients let you block remote images, which turns open tracking off.
4 · How long we keep it
Mailing-list addresses stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and are removed when you do. Purchase records are kept for as long as the tax and accounting rules that apply to us require, because that is not a choice we get to make. Server logs are kept by our host for its own retention period.
5 · Your rights, and how to use them
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Depending on where you live — California, the rest of the United States, the United Kingdom, the EEA — you may have those rights in law as well; we apply them to everybody rather than checking which set applies to you.
- To stop the emails: the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. One click, and nothing else happens.
- To be deleted: write to mysteriesmediallc@gmail.com and say so. We remove your address from the list. If you have bought something we keep the minimum purchase record the accounting rules require, and nothing else.
- To see what we hold: same address. It is a short answer.
We have never sold personal information and have no plans to start, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front.
6 · Where your data goes
Stripe and Netlify are United States companies and Brevo is a French company operating in the European Union, so your address may be stored and processed in either place. If you write to us from outside the United States, that transfer is part of sending you the file you asked for.
7 · Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is one that affects what we do with an address we already hold, we will say so in an email rather than quietly editing the page.
8 · Contact
A person reads this address: mysteriesmediallc@gmail.com. Mysteries Group LLC, United States. Replying to any email we have sent you reaches the same place.
